Ensaio pra [des] construção do Corpo
(Thesis for the [de] construction of the body), 2016
Participatory face-to-face performance. The action is based on the experiences of the artist himself who sees himself, for his 120 kg, outside the established sociocultural standard.
Descriptive Memorial: 1. Table and chair, placed parallel; 2. On the food / drink table. The performer invites people to eat with him; 3. The performer sits down and begins to eat, begins this process slowly and accelerates (violently) to the extent that feels satisfied; 4. After eating and realizing the end of this act, within the proposed time limit, the performer stands, looking at the audience in silence.
The performance has already been presented at the Festival ruido&gesto, 2016, Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG), Rio Grande, Rio Grande do Sul; It had its process dismantled in the VII Inter Faces International - Performance e Pedagoria: Poéticas e Politicas do Corpo, 2016, at the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU); Collective Exhibition DAVisuais, 2016, Gallery of Art and Research - GAP, Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES).
